VCSS was founded by four like-minded people who wanted to provide a service that truly was controlled by the people we support.

The supports we provide are always based on your self-directed plans and goals. You let us know what you need, and we provide you the right kind of supports to reach your goals.

We will always strive to help you feel safe and valued, in a positive environment where people can develop meaningful relationships with others, improve their daily living skills, engage in enjoyable activities, and increase their feelings of self-esteem.

Our staff receive regular training to improve their interactions with individuals and families we serve. We value our staff and appreciate the critical roles they play in the lives of the people we support.

We pay our respects to leaders and Elders past, present and emerging for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and the hopes of all Dja Dja Wurrung People. We express our gratitude in the sharing of this land, our sorrow for the personal, spiritual and cultural costs of that sharing and our hope that we may walk forward together in harmony and in the spirit of healing.
